Sticky Fingers by: The Rolling Stones
First Press Stereo Rolling Stones Records 1971
Sticky Fingers might just be The Rolling Stones best album. I recently said Exile was, but it’s really hard to argue against all of these songs: Brown Sugar, Wild Horses, Can’t You Hear Me Knocking, Bitch, Sister Morphine (Ry Cooder is on this one ❤️) I almost just listed every song on the record. The cover is also completely badass with a real zipper on the front and, if you’re into damaging your records, you can peel it back to find the Andy Warhol briefs and banana hammock image.
Cover is in great shape, unpeeled, zipper looks intact although I didn’t test it to avoid damaging the cover. There is a name written on the back near the right thigh, so it’s not super obvious. Same name is written on one of the labels. Let’s all silently curse Olson. Record plays really well despite some small hairlines, nothing deep, no crackle.
We clean, catalog, grade and fully listen to every record that we sell. It’s important to us to put out the best records we can. There should be at least a couple of ears between you and a bad sounding record. We try to let you know of any issues we find in the description. But keep in mind, all record players are different. Like snowflakes!
