Wish You Were Here is a classic album but I’m not going to go into the usual spiel about what makes this record great. If you’re considering buying this record, you’re likely a serious record collector and already know all of that. I apologize if you’re a spendy casual collector and want to know what makes it great. Stream it real quick then come back and buy this rare copy!
What we have here is a 1985 reissue from Colombia on red CBS labels. It’s a unique pressing and not something you see often. Only 3 copies are currently listed on Discogs, all from South America, priced between $250–$450. According to Discogs stats, 16 people have it and 698 want it. So yes—it’s rare, and yes—it’s in demand.
Our copy is in great shape. The vinyl grades VG+, with just a couple light marks and it plays beautifully. The cover has a small corner ding (bottom right) and some slight lamination lift at the top center, but no ring wear and it still feels solid overall. It presents well.
