Self Portrait by: Bob Dylan
First Press Stereo Columbia 1970
Self Portrait reminds me of road trips. Specifically, the one leaving California back to Portland after our wedding. All The Tired Horses really threw me for a loop. I didn’t get it at first, it just repeats over and over. I’m not saying that I get it now but I appreciate it now. There are some really amazing songs on this record, The Mighty Quinn is one of my favorites. It’s a great listen to just put on and do your thing.
The cover is in decent shape. It’s presentable and functional, has some seam repairs and discoloration on the back, a little bit of ring wear but is overall in good shape. The records are graded VG visually but they play really well. There is a small pop on the B side but overall they play great.
We clean, catalog, grade and fully listen to every record that we sell. It’s important to us to put out the best records we can. There should be at least a couple of ears between you and a bad sounding record. We try to let you know of any issues we find in the description. But keep in mind, all record players are different. Like snowflakes!
