Outlandos D'Amour by: The Police
First Press Stereo A&M 1979
The Police’s debut album. That’s history. Whoever owned this record originally, got to experience The Police for the first time, that’s pretty special.
This album was almost named Police Brutality, but I think they made the right choice using French gibberish. It’s difficult to wrap my head around the fact that Roxanne was on their first record. That just sets the stage of what The Police would accomplish, it’s like a live band opening with their closer.
The vinyl and cover have been graded visually VG but the cover is not in bad shape but does have some wear. We have played this record several times and we have not heard any issues.
We clean, catalog, grade and fully listen to every record that we sell. It’s important to us to put out the best records we can. There should be at least a couple of ears between you and a bad sounding record. We try to let you know of any issues we find in the description. But keep in mind, all record players are different. Like snowflakes!
